Hudson & St. Croix County

Found along the beautiful St. Croix River, just 30 minutes east the Twin Cities, Hudson is one of the fastest growing communities in Wisconsin. The city’s natural beauty is evident within its parks and peaceful neighborhoods, mixing stately Victorian homes with new housing developments. A thriving downtown area features several blocks of unique shopping and dining, and cultural opportunities at the Phipps Center for the Arts. Festivals such as the Hudson Hot Air Affair (an annual hot air balloon event) attract visitors to this historic river town. Students attend school in Hudson School District #2611.

Twin Cities Trivia:

Hudson was named by its first mayor because the St. Croix River reminded him of New York’s Hudson River.
